The Bush is located in the Suffolk Village of Shimpling, in-between Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury. The pub got a relaxed family feel while serving the best possible local produce. Our kitchen and bar uses the best suppliers from around East Anglia. You can expect a  melting pot of English, Scandinavian and other cuisines while  keeping food and drink miles low and supporting producers from Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.  

We are open and serving food Wednesday to Sunday.

As we are busy in the vineyard uring the summer we do a Spice Night on Wednesdays with Thai, Indian, Middle East dishes. Also, Join in for a game of pétanque in the garden as we play throughout the summer months.

Thursday is bar menu with charcuteries and lighter meal/snacks.

Fridays we do traditional Pizzas in our wood fired oven.

Saturdays we escape working on the fields and do our seasonal a la carte menu alongside our fab specials board.

Sundays means we serve our lunch menu and roast alongside the specials board.
